Reception and bar staff were fantastic. Especially Woody. Location ideal for arena. Rooms really comfortable… could go with a bit more tea and coffee though. Breakfast was decent. Felt expensive for what we got though… one let down was the spa. Opens at 8.00 on a Saturday.. we arrived at this time but staff didn’t turn up till 8.10.. and then she couldn’t find key. By the time we got into the pool it was 8.20. We had 10 mins of a decent swim before lessons started. We couldn’t even relax in the sauna or steam room because they’d only just been turned on and were freezing. If you’re charging £200 a night need to make sure facilities are worth this.

Picked the hotel as its literally outside the arena and couldn't be bothered travelling at night. Yes it's more expensive than most hotels around the area but worthwhile if you're going to an night time event at the Arena, you'll be in bed within minutes. Our room was fine as you'd expect from a Radisson, comfortable bed, a great shower and endless lighting options if you're in to that. Breakfast was decent with plenty of options. although the coffee machine is a bit naff, shame they don't allow free coffee's from the bar like many hotels do at breakfast time. The hotel has a spa which unfortunately we didn't have time to try.

The room sizes are good but rooms are a little outdated. Me and my partner have stayed here numerous amount of times and had a issue with a broken bed, tv not working and overall a bit of shabby rooms eg stains on carpets ect but what i will say is that its amazing value for money and any problem i ever had was fixed extremely quickly and thats why i will always come back to this hotel every-time i go to Manchester . The staff are always nice and we have a nice stay. I was last there in June and was told there starting reno for the rooms and the new rooms look lovely so looking forward to future stays.

Really handy for AO Arena and Victoria Station. Room large and bed comfy. Staff friendly. BIG SHOUT OUT TO AGGIE...I was by myself and taken ill on Friday night. Distressing episode. Only men on night shift but they caught Aggie, just after Midnight, who was heading home. She stayed and helped me, calmed me down and sorted things out. Came to check on me on Saturday and Sunday...THANK YOU SO MUCH. Didn't have breakfast but it looked very good! Bar staff made the best Espresso Martini...had to check first one wasn't a fluke 🙃

Very friendly staff who were happy to help. Room had Air Conditioning which was very good and the bed was very comfortable. Pool was small but perfectably acceptable with a very good sauna and steam room. Location was very good being only a 2 minute walk to the AO Arena and Victoria station area just over 5 minutes away. Parking is available at the citi car park right beside the arena at a cost of £22 per day but if you ask at reception on checkout you do get a discount voucher. We paid £26 for 2 1/2 days (Nov 2024)
